Unfortunately due to the market crisis we are facing, CNG have ceased to trade. As of 7th November, Pozitive Energy are now the supplier for CNG Customers - appointed by Ofgem via the SoLR (Supplier of Last Resort).

If you are affected you need not worry; your supply will continue, and if you have a credit balanced owed to you, it will be protected. If you haven't done so already after receiving notice that CNG has ceased to trade, please take a meter reading as soon as possible.

Taking a meter reading is really important. It will enable Pozitive Energy to calculate any credit balance owed to you and bill you in a timely manner.

They will be in touch within the next 5 days to confirm your current rates and how you can secure more competitive prices however the majority of you will likely see a significant increase in costs due to current market levels. You do not have to stick with Pozitive Energy so we can help source other contracts and see if we can make them even more competitive for you.

For CNG to Pozitive Energy - initially you will be charged their DEEMED RATES which are below:

  • 10.00 p/kWh Unit Rate

  • 60.00 p/Day Standing Charge

Pozitive Energy are due to contact all customers imminently to advise what their 12 month offers will be. We can confirm they are as follows

  • If you use under 52,000 kWh, you will be offered 7.7 p/kWh with a standing charge of 35.00p/day

  • If you use over 52,000 kWh, you will be offered 7.7 p/kWh with a standing charge of 50.00p/day

Due to the amount of meters involved, they have had to take a blanket approach for the starting point. After the initial phase has passed, they will be in touch to discuss wider options with you however you are free to now start looking around at new contracts. Receive your free quote.
